ABOUT

Behind every system are people and decisions.

I am András Pakó, a Data & AI Architect. I view data, architecture, analytics and AI as parts of one connected system — from the business question through technological implementation to usable information.

Perspective

Connections give meaning to the details.

At the beginning of my career, IT was still treated as a unified field. Networks, servers, applications and data were different perspectives on the same operation.

That experience continues to shape the way I think. The true role of a technology becomes visible in its context: in how it connects to other systems, data, business concepts and human decisions. For me, architecture gives these relationships a clear and sustainable structure.

Professional journey

From the full scope of IT, through the world of data, to setting professional direction.

  1. 1999

Starting from IT as a whole

I began as a network administrator in the IT organisation of Hungary’s public employment service. From networks, my path led to servers, applications and development. This was where databases, data and the relationships between them first came into focus.

  2. 2007

Data becomes a system of its own

We began building the first data warehouse for the national employment organisation. It turned employment and financial data into information for weekly and monthly reporting. The public employment data warehouse later grew from the same foundation.

  3. Private sector

    New environments, broader connections

As a BI expert, I worked in financial, telecommunications and regulatory environments. Enterprise reporting, data integration and database expertise became connected to increasingly complex business questions.

  4. Enterprise scale

    From BI to integration

As an internal expert, I worked with HR data, BI systems, database administration and integration. International automotive projects followed, where the same professional foundation continued to develop in large enterprise environments with German teams.

  5. Today

    From implementation to direction

As a Domain Owner, I now help set professional direction, shape architecture and support the development of a team. Data, technology and business purpose can therefore connect as parts of one operating system.

Way of working

Understand first. Then organise. Finally, build.

  1. 01

    Context

A technology decision begins with understanding the business purpose, the organisational environment and the way the organisation already operates.

  2. 02

    Shared language

Clear concepts and models create a common foundation for thinking across business and technology.

  3. 03

    Connected system

The data model, platform, integration and analytics are successive parts of the same journey towards information.

  4. 04

    Direction

Architecture gives implementation a usable framework while leaving room for professional collaboration and growth.

A different focus

The same attention, through different tools.

Photography has long been part of my life, and over time it became a professional path as well: I earned a formal qualification as a photographer.

In image-making, the relationship between light, form, timing and detail creates the whole. This way of seeing is close to how I think about architecture. In both fields, attention, structure and consciously designed relationships make what we see understandable.

Present

Knowledge becomes valuable when it can be passed on.

Today I work with enterprise Data & AI architectures, data platforms and the data foundations needed for AI. Alongside setting professional direction, organising and sharing knowledge is becoming an increasingly important part of my work.

andraspako.hu gives that work a space of its own. Projects, models, professional explanations and more personal perspectives connect here as parts of a professional system that continues to evolve.
